Independent Mortgage Brokers Association of Ontario (IMBA)

Mortgage Funding is a member of the IMBA, which was founded in 2000 and is an organization of independent mortgage brokers who are devoted to the improvement of the brokerage industry. Membership consists of representatives from all sectors of the mortgage industry, including mortgage brokers, lenders, title insurers and other respected participants of the industry.  The members are kept up-to-date on the latest industry advancements.

The aim of IMBA is to provide a comprehensive, broker-driven voice for the truly independent mortgage practitioners of Ontario. The IMBA is committed to developing an effective public relations program to promote the advantages of dealing with skilled professional mortgage brokers and is committed to working with the Financial Services Commission of Ontario & the Government of Ontario to improve the Mortgage Brokers Act in an effort to enhance Consumer Protection in Ontario.
